The first institution Maria Home for People with Complex Needs was established in 1988 especially for Profound Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities (PIMD). Individuals with PIMD rely on professional services in order to be alive. Therefore, Maria Home for People with Complex Needs combines service of special education and service of medication and rehabilitation together.

     Each training goal of our clients and individualized cases are designed by professional physiotherapists, occupational therapists, language therapists, and special educators. Individual assistive devices are designed by physiotherapists and engineers based on our clients’ need and body function to apply on daily living, educational learning, and functional development. We serve approximately 65 individuals with PIMD in Maria Home for People with Complex Needs and Maria Wufeng Caring Home each year.
