Maria MaMa Cleaning Team
  • Goals

Generally, people question the quality of cleaning services provided by people with disabilities. Many believe that they can only perform basic cleaning services such as sweeping, mopping and wiping, but unable to do more advanced techniques such as waxing, sanitizing, and other maintenance skills. With this preconceived notion, Maria Mama Sheltered Cleaning Team aims to achieve the following objectives:

1. To build the “Maria MaMa” brand

2. To market cleaning services provided by people with disabilities by establishing a paradigm for other similar organizations that also provide sheltered employment in cleaning.

3. To uphold the spirit of social businesses and create employment opportunities for people with disabilities

4. To ensure reasonable employment rights and benefits that are associated with sheltered employment

5. To provide individualized service plans (employment abilities enhancement plans) according to the individual’s needs.

6. To obtain the highest standard for high quality cleaning

On top of using green cleaning products, detergents and cleaning equipment, Maria Mama will continue to improve vocational skills of people with disabilities so that not only can they master basic cleaning services such as sweeping, mopping and wiping, but also perform more advanced techniques such as waxing, sanitizing and other maintenance skills.
